Education in Cambodia - Our Schools

The major economic challenge for Cambodia over the next decade will be fashioning an economic environment in which the private sector can create enough jobs to handle Cambodia's demographic imbalance. More than 50% of the population is less than 25 years old.

The population lacks education and productive skills, particularly in the poverty-ridden countryside, which suffers from an almost total lack of basic infrastructure.
Through our partnership with the Goodwill Community Foundation (GCF), we have established 20 English schools and 8 computer schools in the rural regions of Cambodia, except for our Phnom Penh location.
We reach over 2,000 youth and adults in Cambodia with hopes of increasing our impact to 2,500 this year by adding one more English school and promoting growth within our established schools.
A donation to Child Rescue can help ensure the operation of this program so that these schools may continue to educate and aid these areas in Cambodia that are in need. Please see our donations page for more details.
